To state the obvious, short hair is far more manageable and much easier to maneuver. However it doesn’t compare to the styles and textures you can get with long hair. If ease of care is what you’re after then short would be the way to go, but if you are looking for a new look every other day, long is for you. Where many women were loathe cutting their hair in the past, with the introduction of hair extensions more women are trying the short look with greater confidence.
Certainly it is not such a huge decision to try out short styles and if you’re the adventurous type there are some really far out things you can do with short hair. From perms to waves and from layers to bobs there is a style for any occasion but there’s not the same amount of options as long hair can offer. So now you’ve tired of the short hair look go get those extensions cause long hair as opposed to short hair gives more options of styles from lengthy curls or waves to straight classic looks, from pinned up to corn braids. From buns for that special night out to ponytails for the daily run, long hair, although a little more time consuming, is the trend of the day. A perfect example of the convenience of extensions is Christina Agulera, with her policy of a new look for every album the bets are on! Her hair is the main change (pardon the pun) that she makes for her new look and she has gone from short to long and back to short so many times that it’s almost a sure bet as to her next move. Or is it? Suffice it to say that whatever she chooses it will look fabulous on her. We are now living in an era where hair says it all be it short hair or long hair. From class to culture, from emo to punk genre. Hair gives you the edge.
